Preamplifier suggestion for AHB2 (instead of LA4/HPA4)

What ever happened to LEDs in the volume knob? Works like a charm.
That would be great but even a dab of paint would be an improvement.

Happy AHB2 owner with an RME ADI-2 FS DAC Pre combo.
I am smitten with the combo. And now exploring how I could further improve on it, just because I want to.
1. Move to the Pro Version with higher output (+24 dbu and I could make use of one analog input).
2. Try a Benchmark DAC 3 with volume control (but lose the almighty PEQ in the ADI-2).
3. Insert a Benchmark LA4 in the chain (overkill, but would it help to level match the ADI-2 to AHB2 and add analog inputs).
