Power mains,cable C5,mickey mouse

I like to upgrade cables and feet for my hifi stuff

I have a wiim vibelink and it uses mickey mouse c5 plugs for the power

I know supra makes some very reasonable power cable, that price wise match what i think most people would pay to upgrade power cable,mains on a wiim vibelink

Problems is, they don't make any cable with c5,mickey mouse plugs, other brands that makes power cable for not alot of money like Monosaudio, also don't make any with c5,mickey mouse plug and schuko at the other end

It's not about if they make a difference or sound better

It's about why they don't make any and if there is any out there for 50 euros or a little more

Even when some don't have a an expensive system they stille wanna upgrade things like power cable,mains as some do with big,expensive systems

If people didn't buy expensive power cable they wouldn't make them, if you can afford 1000 euros pr meter speaker cable you might also be able to afford to upgrade power cable,mains

I have heard chord is comming with a c5 cable but don't know anything about it other than it's comming his year

The real reason no sellers exist is because there is no seller capable of making one.

Notice all the "audiophile power cables" are made using hand-assembled connectors. C13 connectors, those are easy to find, audiophile or not. C5 connectors on the other hand, non-existent.

This means C5 cables would need to be made from the factory. Which results in the current situation.

It is difficult to not do that considering the entire industry is about doing that. I will stop my explanation at the last point above since any further will require doing that.

Out of stock most places and more than 1 meter it's like 120 euros

With amps like a nad D3020 and wiim vibelink, there are a few units with that type

As mentioned it can be the same as those with a big expensive system that wanna upgrade power cable

They just don't wanna buy something expensive or else they money could have give them a much better amp (even with stock power cable)

The difference is the price of there system, not if they do or do not want to upgrade,tweak,fine tune (call it what ever you like) there system with cables
