Power conditioners, strips with overcurrent protection and non filtered sockets for amps

I found the Supra MD06-EU/SP SPC to be interresting and is what i want to try, (220-230 euro), it's silver plated copper.

I have a supra power cable, just a basic one but feelt i needed something a little more different than a regular power strip to justify spending money on a different power strip

If you can collect in Copenhagen you can have mine. PM me if you're interested.

I was fancy recently and got myself a Furman 210 A for my Class A/B (Yamaha AS2200) amp and Tube Headphone amp (Cayin HA-2A) .

Did cost 200 €
I think Furman often gets used in Studios / PA stuff ..

The AC-210AE compact power conditioner features Furman’s revolutionary SMP technology. Furman’s Series Multi-Stage Protection (SMP) circuit features our exclusive Linear Filter Technology (LiFT) and Extreme Voltage Shutdown (EVS)

... In Europe, most of these are rated up to 16A (which is also the default breaker fuse in most cases), giving you 3.6 kW of safe power ... Though at that point, I would probably make sure the wires are at least 2.5 mm2 in diameter. As for certification, that is mandatory anyway; otherwise, you cannot sell it in the EU.
Just for the record, regulations in Europe call for at least 1.5 mm^2, not 2.5mm^2.

Choose whatever you like but make sure it's certified to the point of no return, power strips are the cause of many fires.
A metal, grounded body would be nice too.
UL and CE approvals would be good to have for any product that plugs into a wall outlet.

Sure, but for 16A sustained, better use a larger gauge. For normal audio use, not needed obviously.
Don't know what "audiophile" looks like. I do know "flimsy" when I see it.
Well, luckily you don’t have to look at it. You’ll plug in your gear at one point, throw it behind the cabinet, and then never look at it again.

When did you ever read about a fire started by one of those things behind the audio cabinet?

Sure, but ...
... please make sure to double check before giving wrong information like:

at least 2.5 mm2 in diameter. As for certification, that is mandatory anyway; otherwise, you cannot sell it in the EU

There are too many posts in fora already just echoing uninformed statements, thus lowering thread signal to noise ratio.

Ah, now I understand. Yeah, sorry, the certification comment was not about the wire gauge, but the product in general. Thanks for pointing that out, this can be confusing. I’ll improve the wording accordingly.
