Hummingbird Hawk-Moth, shot during holiday on Sicily.
The little bugger was very fast and very difficult to track. Fully zoomed in (140mm equiv.) and standing rather close (~1m), this is still a ~2.5x crop.
Out of hundreds of rapid fire shots only a couple dozen were worth looking at due to wing position, lack of focus and composition. Pretty happy with this result.

above I placed this small photo in large format... it is the city where I lived from 4 to 20 years old.
This city is called: ABIDJAN and it is located in IVORY COAST, Africa, near the Atlantic Ocean.
The quality of life was incredibly good and the black people were friendly.
I never went back there, unfortunately ... and I'm 70 years old...
