Indian tractors are fairly popular in the US. There's a Mahindra dealer none too far from us here, although Kubota is the local favorite. :)

me on our son-in-law's Kubota :)
You'll note the happy expression on my face.
It's a great tractor.
Nice, but could keeping sheep as pets / hoofed lawn mowers be a viable alternative?

I don't know how good sheep are for skidding logs, tilling... stuff like that. ;)
Plus, one would need a darned tall sheep to do this*

I like tractors.
All of them.
Big, small, old, new.
All my neighbors have tractors.
No, really.
All of them.
I am envious.
Then you must watch Classic Tractor Fever (and probably do) on the Rural Farm Network. I'm a huge fan and a Farmall fanboy.

:)

I keep telling you, you've got the wrong color! :D Besides, that's not a big tractor. This is:

Deere makes bigger, as do several other companies, but I don't see many of them around here. I do, however, see a quite a few of these 9570 models.

BTW - I'm not in love with sheer size. I was brought up on a Ferguson 30. Jim

Remember that we live in the northeast. That tractor is bigger than our whole state.
