Post pictures of anything, with comment...couple words.

Used it once, singularly the most unpleasant experience. Really bumpy ride, and couldn't see anything out of the windows due to spray. Even the ferries were prefereable in a Force 9 gale! Only used the Tunnel since it opened.

It has been 25 years since it was withdrawn. I went on it on a cracking day and the Capt came across the tannoy and said” it was a very good day for hovering we will try for the crossing record’ we left the Harbour and he opened the taps. We missed the record by 10ish seconds. The record was broken that year in Sept by the ‘Princess Anne’

I didn't have the long telephoto lens available and by the time I put it on, it was gone (of course).
I even tried the "8x" tele on my cheap-jack phone, but the result was predictably miserable.

Well Google lens thinks it's a finch, but I'm no expert :)

This evening (25Apr2026) at our house in the Connecticut River "Upper Valley".

This morning, garden festival in Lizio.
Buying pepper seedlings, eggplants, long peppers, lettuces, old varieties of tomatoes, Japanese eggplants, I'm forgetting some, and at midday, sea shanties, a few beers on tap and fries.
