Sea of daffodils on our walk today

I was amused by this queue of ca. 20 turkeys earlier today. They looked as though they were waiting for the theater doors to open.

Possibly, a year-of-the-horse gathering.
Oh, wait! Turkeys: Perhaps, they may be the ramadan-crowd.

You can make fun of us for paying the highest energy bills, but not having to pay for heating/cooling or protective gear gotta count for something!

I think there's room for a bit more information on that display. I see a wee bit of background in the top corners. ;)

My photo above doesn't do it justice (I was half asleep ), but this is the lunar eclipse yesterday morning just before totality, just before local moonset behind the trees on the northwest side of our house. It was gorgeous.

Not the best image, taken with my phone looking out a window in a little town in Ontario, Canada. The light was actually spectacular, very atmospheric and dramatic. I didn't use any filters, this is just how my Pixel 7 Pro captured the scene.
A very painterly effect I thought. It was a night where heavy snow was expected and the sky was quite dark and yet somehow, there was this lovely glow.

Not sure if they're even the same breed, but:
