Please resist the temptation to call the Joan Miró's "Bleu II" the "doodling of a child".
JoanMiroBlueII-03.jpg

Joan Miró's priceless 1961 original "Bleu II" is an oil-on-canvas, measuring 270cm x 355cm, and resides at Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris.

OT: There were "III" versions of the artwork, which was part of Miró's "Blue Triptych" series. While Blue II is highly valued and recognized as a key work in Miró’s mature period. Depending on the provenance/medium of the reproductions; they have fetched north of $100K. Sotheby record for a much earlier Joan Miró artwork had fetched $37Million in 2021.

I could have done the same thing with my third arm... interpret that as you will ))) I would have called my work "unexpected extension" )))

In a different style, I also found "the canvas for painting poop"

Although requested otherwise, you have proven -once again- that art [as with music] supposed to elicit visceral emotions!
Miro's very simple few brush-strokes in Bleu II artwork did the same for me, when I was but a few feet away from it, at the Centre Pompidou.;)
[OT: Which has been going thru a 'metamorphosis'... until 2030].

One might almost ask the question: abstract expressionism or Dadaism? )
