Post pictures of anything, with comment...couple words.

The small cluster of buildings roughly in the center of the image is the town's primary/middle school; the buildings on the left are, mostly, the town's snooty prep school. ;)
So much wide open space - beautiful :)

Sad no photos of the cookies :(

Hope you had a great time with family.

Huge December sky at Lizard Point today.

My favourite part of England. Poldhu on the Lizard was where Marconi did his transatlantic transmission experiments. The original (now restored) transmission hut is still there. The Marconi Museum at Poldhu is worth visiting. The nearby Porthcurno village is where the early long distance undersea telegraph cables came ashore, and the Museum there is also worth a visit, as is the extraordinary Minnack Theatre. Hoping to visit again in the Spring.

Not in the same league as @CapMan's marvelous images, but we had a somewhat dramatic sky last evening -- "evening" being kind of a differential quantity here, as is it in the UK, at this time of year. ;)

(just a piccie through the dining room window -- I am a lazy photographer, too... and it was chilly)

a little bit later...

I was looking for software updates for mine and ran across this!

When I rolled up to work on Monday, there was this little white-ish blob on the ground near where I park, that was about three inches across. Today, Friday, it has grown quite considerably in size. Anybody want to hazard a guess as to what species of fungus this is?
