Very nice photos. I have a 5D Mark III which unfortunately hasn't seen much use since I bought a compact mirrorless camera as well as upgrading to a Pixel 8 phone. With the convenience of packing much smaller gear it's hard to go back to a full frame DSLR.

Thank you for your kind attention and comment.

This time, for our short trip/stay at Awashima Island (my post #4,325), I brought only one lens CANON EF24-105mm F4L IS II USM attached to EOS 5D Mark IV; all the photos were taken by hand-held without using tripod. As for my other lenses for intensive photo shooting occasions/sessions, please refer to my post here.

Yes, the combination of 5D Mark IV + EF24-105mm F4L IS II USM is rather heavy stuff, but I still very much love the physical stability (partly due to the weight) and stunning imaging quality as well as the wonderful reliability! :)

Let me share a nice recent review/sales-promotion article on 5D Mark IV with which I fully agree; I hope and believe your web browser will properly translate it into English:

Finally got a phone with a decent camera.
Austria and Germany, July 2025.

Yes, you did! :)

My phone camera is meh at best -- but the sky was rather dramatic as I was driving home from Concord, NH last evening. This is looking NW towards Vermont, taken in the vicinity of Enfield, NH on US Interstate route 89.

Take them to Dent Pro, Dent Wizard, or Dent Doctor for paintless dent repair
Those are custom Pella Reserve windows and an insurance claim. I work in storm restoration… I’d tell you the profit margin on a job like this but then I’d have to kill you.

Visited a "new" garden some pictures.

Hazy skies here caused by smoke from wildfires in Canada.
Not beautiful sunsets, but striking ones nonetheless...
