So -- a few years ago, I built a couple of simple little structures to help keep ice and snow off of the external units of our "mini-split" heat pumps.
I usually drag them out once a year, trim the weeds, touch-up paint the studs. A couple of days ago, I was looking them over -- and I discovered that I appear to have a little complication this summer.
