Alain Delon, the French actor, producer and writer whose cool, enigmatic beauty made him an international sex symbol, has died today at the age of 88.

“He passed away peacefully in his home in Douchy, surrounded by his three children and his family,” a family statement released to the AFP news agency said. Delon had been battling poor health in recent years and suffered a stroke in 2019.

Tell what ? What are you talking about? Before AIDS it was much easier but today it is still possible, it is a state of mind, that's all. Even today at my age I can meet people, there is nothing mysterious about women. Don't make a big deal out of it either.

My Pineapple Guava plants. The one on the right is a little over 4 feet tall. I think they will produce fruit next summer. They were 2 inches tall when I received them. Time to transfer them to much bigger pots. Will have to bring them in for winter.

Sorry that the photos are poor. I was out on the porch fairly early this morning -- a cool, foggy morning. I espied three deer at the far western edge of the field on that side of the house, one doe and two bucks. Did the best I could to photograph 'em (the bucks only, as it turned out) before they ambled away.
