I had guinea fowls for a while. I got tired of feeding the bobcats so I gave up on them.

After an ice storm a few years ago. I am surrounded by forest on three sides. It sounded like a war zone with all the trees cracking.

That's curious. I thought the British one was called Concord.

I'm not sure I've seen it in that paint job before. Looks a million bucks.

I figured the aircraft dated back far enough, there must have been at least "artists' conceptions" of one in the lovely old BOAC colours. That was the nicest one that a quick googlage turned up.

If so... it doesn't bloom here 'til very late summer.

Apropos of nothing: Last year's 'crop', coming out of a cool and very wet summer, was exceptional.

This is the best I could do to capture the dying light of the solstice before the clouds rolled in at 10pm, using an iPhone xs, looking towards the Cairnsmore of Fleet (Galloway, Scotland)

Looks like you did a pretty darned good job to me!
We had clouds to the (north)west, so no great solstice sunset on our side of the pond.
