Post photo of your desktop setup

Acer Aspire 5 laptop connected via USB to Topping E30. Also Connected to E30; Sony BDP BX-57 Blu-Ray player. Both connected via Topping L30 to Yamaha RX-V461 AVR. Using the two front channels to a pair of Infinity Primus 250 speakers, the subwoofer line-out to a Sonance Son of Sub powered sub, good to around 25 Hz. Both loudspeakers a foot off the floor, the left speaker on a painted MDF cube for coffee table books, the other on the sub. In the usual position by the desk the tweeters are slightly above my head, the upper mid/woofer in line with my ears.

Here's mine, also quite simple. It's currently a little messy from work equipment, but I usually have my personal laptop connected to the speakers. It has access to a NAS system with all my music which I play via Apple Music. Speakers are a pair of JBL 305P along with the complimentary JBL LSR310S subwoofer sitting on the floor next to the desk. The pads the speakers are sitting on are simply the cheapest thing I could get to raise them so the tweeters are ear height; I have no belief in the effects of isolation pads, otherwise. In fact, I EQ the desk resonance down, anyway. Good for me!

Here are my 8030c which are connected to a D50 III on DSP/DAC duty. Usually my work laptop sits to the left of the central monitor. I may swing for a 7040a or 7050 sub if I ever find the right used deal.

Current setup. I glued acoustic foam to the wall behind the speakers.

You should wear sunglasses... staring at that white wall has got to be bad for your eyes, your melatonin levels and your circadian rhythms.;)

The Topping A70 Pro completes my desktop setup, and I got my sub working well placed underneath the desk!

My secondary/desk top system: Adam Audio D3V

Those are cute and afaik not bad sounding for such sompact monitors - in fact I've almost pulled the trigger and bought a pair to replace my Kali Lp-unf pair with those.

Nice speakers! A friend of mine has them, too. Compared to the Artist 5s I once had they are much smaller but more importantly their width-woofer-ratio is better for small desks. Somehow the design reminds me of older computer speakers (like the Yamahas YST-M10 of my first pc).:)

I am very happy with them and I am not missing a sub. Especially, not in a near field configuration.
Just for fun, I connected them to my main system with Genelec 7040 sub and they sound fairly decent.
Clearly, not at the wall shuttering levels.

Hafler Circuit with MiniDSP 2x4 HD, LCR and rear subwoofers I am trying a 10ms delay on the ambience recovery rear channel. The bass envelops me, as I find subwoofer bass localizable. This only works with stereo recordings (mono recording will play in the front only.)
