I didn't want my amps on the carpet or near the air conditioner, so I came up with this idea to place them on these wood blocks. I removed the drawers from the desk so the amps could get more ventilation on top.

Put the amps on bricks and removed the cubes so the bass has room to breath.

The photo was a bit more revealing, to me:
The cables above the desktop area reminded me of what we used to call 'a spaghetti' factory.
OT: Have you ever tried pasta served with yoğurt as a meal?
But the photo did not make me start salivating, since I failed to spot any garlic (and some salt) nearby that is usually the secret sauce for this simple carb recipe!
Just looking at container on right. Loved my miso soup for lunch days way back in the day while living in NYC, that's all. Image just popped into my head. Certainly no offense or confusion intended!

I wanted to upload my latest desktop setup pic, since I put bricks under my subwoofer, which is positioned under my desk again. I put foam under my speakers too.
Very simple.
