Here's mine, nothing fancy. Klipsch THX desktop spkrs + sub, for background music and sounds good for what it is. Atom amp and Atom DAC with HD58X for really listening. The monitor has been recently swapped out for a 32" curved screen and a proper glass riser instead of a book underneath it

And this is what it looks like now with Keff Q150s, SMSL A300 amp and Jamo sub(small but gets the job done)

DAC: SMSL M200
Amp: SMSL DA9
Speakers: Wharfedale 12.0s

I'm pretty happy with it, but it's new and I'm still playing around with things. I need to bust out REW and fine tune it. I'm still undecided if I'll add a sub. The little speakers do a pretty good job, but obviously roll off early. I might be ok with that for a secondary system. I'm rather impressed with the amp.

Here's my desktop setup. I just put foam panels on the walls behind my speakers. They don't do a single thing, but they look cool and they make me feel like I'm in a studio.

speakers: a/d/s l300e and sub 6 subwoofer
amp: JVC JR-S300
dac: tempotec sonata hd pro with tape (it has a faulty usb connector)
headphones: NAD hp-70

Topping E30, SMSL HO100, and Sennheiser HD 660S just something to use when working at the computer listening to music or watching a video.

Is that a window to the outside or some elaborate trick, looks uncanny somehow.

Does it look good in person? I have dabbled with such things, but found the quality/resolution too low, which ruins the effect.

My brand new and first desktop setup :). I'm enjoying it IMENSELY because I spend way to much time working here and it is a lot easier with good music playing.
Genelec 8330+7350+volume knob and Argon Solo streamer.
For size comparison, monitor is 32'

What I love about desk: even if I don't use it standing up often I change its height constantly. I couldn't live without cutout, my whole hands rest on the desk, it is sooo comfortable plus I can be very precise with mouse. Light on the monitor is Xiaomi, it comes with remote button for brightness and color temp, love it, it costs around 45€. IKEAs foot rest. For the first time I have 75% keyboard and I love it because I used to bump full keyboard with mouse all the time.
I'm not so sure about 32' 4k monitor, I think 27' a bit closer would be just as good.

Basically what passes as my desktop setup. My bedroom wall at the foot of my bed. It’s where I run the headphone rig from anyway…

lol...quite an array of stuff there. You've got the laptop and TV, the headphone stuff (Akg's and HE400i's with a Heresy amp - weighted down by a broken UE bluetooth speaker :D - and a Topping E30 dac,) some videogame stuff, the Fire tablet, a couple large-ish battery banks, beard trimming gear, and an array of comic and rpg books! Even a few of my gf's bracelets. It's a geek mecca!

My vintage desktop setup. A part of the speaker can be seen in the bottom right corner.
