Uze'awl, living in that gorgeous NE, where it is the time for that yearly surreal color pallette on the trees: [insert jealous emoji here]
What used to be my favorite - over the NE autumn-foliage - was those same trees glistening with 8" icicles - on every branch - in the frigid-dead of winter!
I expect and hope you'd feel sorry for this transplanted soul, who now has nothing but d*mn palm trees to look at, anymore.

I recall well during my college years, when we looked forward to making our yearly trek back home from college (NJ<>OH) for the holidays. The PA corridor of route I-80 would just shimmer with those icicles, on both sides of the highway, for miles on end. Pocono Mountains (PA) looked better w/the icicles in the winter than it did with their autumn-foliage!

Please post photos, if you are lucky enough to catch a view of those icicles, especially in the Poconos.;).

Yeah. I grew up in NE Ohio. Foliage season was a thing. Where I am now (PNW) it's pretty much green. :D

I took this on the way home from the pub last night - it definitely needs a caption! For our non-UK friends a "spud" is a colloquial term for potato (in this instance baked and filled!)

Do you drink rum ? I do...
which rum I like the most, the one made in Distillerie DILLON.
Rum is a product very clean.
I've been there, I've spent 2 years in Guadeloupe an island not too far from Martinique.
