As the title suggests, I'm looking for a portable battery-powered DAC/Amp for my Grado SR225i which has a 6.3mm (1/4-inch) unbalanced cable. All my searches come up with 4.4 balanced and 3.5mm unbalanced. Just to note, it's not a very demanding headset (32Ω 98dB).

1/4" headphone out is for professional studio environments
3.5mm Aux is for consumers on the go
Studios have no use for a battery powered DAC+Amp, so finding one with 1/4" will be a struggle.
I'd recommend either using an adapter, or modifying your Grado by switching the plug to 3.5mm, or better yet, installing female connectors into the ear cups.
That way, you can use different headphone cables to suit each occasion and easily replace one if it breaks.
