Agree, it looks terrible and not like a $200 device at all. That cover looks prone to snapping off the hinge and doesn't look great for dust/dirt ingress either.

I would prefer one of these for $80;

There's a good reason why the discman disappeared while the CD itself continues on. What possible advantage could this have over ripping discs to lossless and putting them on an MP3 player or phone?

Then again ..people buy Vinyl ...

This was the first one I owned.

Last one I owned. It was priced around 140 USD. Horrible built quality and looked awful, sounded good, didn't last long.
