Port Resonance Suppression: Inspiration from Technics

What the fuck is a poor rhythmic drive?

It is also sometimes referred to as the “magic” that happens which causes finger clicking and foot tapping.
Usually this is caused by the reviewer having their significant-other turn down sexual advances the night before.

It's stuff they write when there is nothing wrong they could find with the loudspeaker, but the manufacturer/dealer didn't want to pay any money, counting that they'd do a fair review.

It means nothing (so can not be proved or disproved) but leaves negative conotation in readers mind "i've read something bad about those". Perfect reviewers bs.

Publications such as What Hi-Fi which rely on ad revenue are typically not independent and unbiased. Yelp operates under the same model in the restaurant industry, floating up bad reviews for restaurants that don't advertise with them, and floating positive reviews for those who do.

Giving the SB-C700 a 2 star review seems unwarranted, given all the other positive feedback from actual users. I'm sad for Technics and the engineers who put so much effort into the speaker, only to have it smeared by What Hi-Fi. Everyone reading this thread can, to some small extent, hold What Hi-Fi accountable for their abuse of subjective "opinion" within such a large audience by not buying their magazine.
