The purpose of my website is to put "CV-information" on it. Links to certifications, write something about education, contact information etc.

Wordpress is a decent start but you'll need a domain name otherwise it will be, <yourname here>.wordpress.com
As compared to, yourname.com
Wordpress might be a bit fancy for your needs but you'll have a full blown website.

You can always use neocities, but I like having my own server, as I despise monstruosities like nginx or apache.
