Pops and Clicks in music with USB out on the WIIM Ultra

Okay, I will have to check. I think it happens throughout a single song at random times, not only when playing a new song.

The DAC switches when sample rate of the material changes. I'm not sure I can switch sample rates to CD Quality when using the USB output... I think this is only possible for the Spdif Out...
You should be able to switch it for your streaming software. Select TIDAL/QOBUZ etc and touch the three lines in the top left corner and settings and set the stream quality.

I had these pops/clicks too connecting the ultra usb out>Audiolab 8200CDQ usb in and streaming Amazon Music via Wiim app.

I played around with "group delay" in the menu of the Wiim et voila, 150ms solved the problem instead 70/800ms after a reboot. So try this out.
It also works for me with an 4 port "passive" usb hub for usb in(usb stick) &out.

Unfortunately i still have pops/clicks if i stream with the amazon app via chromecast but wiim´s app does bitperfect so that´s not a big problem at all.

Okay.... I just found this setting in the audio input menu... I would have thought it would be the other way around. The longer the delay the less sync-problems, but you describe it the other way around... Will check tomorrow...

Unfortunately the noise is back , sometimes it works like a charm and after a while it starts again irregularly .Switching spdif and coax to other settings or reconnecting after different files doesn't help, it happens also if i stay within 16/44 files e.x.. I can also hear sound gets bad when not in line. Spdif/coax with these connections to other Dacs sounds best for me with 24/96 and it seems this is worst for USB for ckicks/pops otherwise it sounds best too, not sure. Opened a ticket.
