Floor space. Subwoofers are a massive waste of space. Room modes can be combated just by adjusting the stereo speaker locations to a big extent. Why is this a gamer changer for you? Having the subs in the main stereo positions means you cant use the perfect spot for combatting standing waves and room modes. Two subwoofers can be placed anywhere.
Erin measured them:Why this speaker and not the almost equally priced
RADIANT ACOUSTICS CLARITY 6.2
Ascilab is targeting 200-300 Hz cutoff for the bass module, so it's more of a very capable woofer or bass bin than a subwoofer. Turns the system into a modular full range 3-way, to my way of thinking. Why is this a gamer changer for you? Having the subs in the main stereo positions means you cant use the perfect spot for combatting standing waves and room modes. Two subwoofers can be placed anywhere.

Congrats on the new opportunity and thank you for bringing that opportunity to usAs hopefully most of you have read, I have started a new venture to distribute/market Ascilab speakers. We have to shortly put in an order for the initial shipment. Key is deciding which models to bring here. Hate to bring too many of one, and then run out of another. I would very much appreciate it if the North American members vote in the poll which models they would seriously consider purchasing and if so, what color preference you have (white, black and I think silver is available). There are three models, two of which I have reviewed and the third one, Erin has:

If anyone wants to make sure you get a unit, please send me a message with title of ASCILAB Purchase and mention which model you want to be inline for.
Current delivery forecast is two months from now.
You are welcome to also post and comment on what you think will be popular if don't intend to purchase.
Much appreciated.![]()
Maybe they can implement a design to reduce intermodulation distortion on a passive setup along with the klippel scanner and flat response.A 3 way design would be welcome
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news people. When will all of this misery end.
25% on South Korea. Amir, can you confirm if South Korea will be the ones paying for this tariff or the American consumer will be? Don't answer that, I'm being a smart ass.

The good news is maybe it will change again in another few months, maybe back to 10%, then just have to wait another 3 months until it goes back up to 25% or 35%, and then back down to 10% or 5%. Only to go back up to 45% but shortly before that 45% actually kicks in, there will be a 90 day pause and all tariffs are frozen at 5%.
I will be paying the tariff which we will then have to pass to you all. I was hoping they would stick to 10%.
This is what it reminds me of...The good news is maybe it will change again in another few months, maybe back to 10%, then just have to wait another 3 months until it goes back up to 25% or 35%, and then back down to 10% or 5%. And that sir, is when you place a huge order to last for the whole entire year! Only after you receive that huge order, tariffs goes down to 0% because a trade deal has finally been struck and now you've just been served a master class in 4D chess!![]()
What's scary is this kind of looks like the actual plan so far .The good news is maybe it will change again in another few months, maybe back to 10%, then just have to wait another 3 months until it goes back up to 25% or 35%, and then back down to 10% or 5%.
