Thanks so much you all. Could use some feedback on colors.
I think most of the time all black speakers are gonna be most popular and least intrusive, but then you might get people (a few less) where all white speakers are less intrusive, and then next most common option might be white speakers with black grills, then least popular might be the brighter coloured options. That's my thoughts on it. I can imagine that the people buying the coloured options could be gamer types to have near their PC where they might have certain colour themes and then the different colours would match that. Maybe there's people with more exotic indoor colours where the coloured options would fit the theme too, especially if I imagine the furniture had some of the strong colours that would match the speakers - somehow something in the back of my mind is saying Scandinavian here. How popular are indoor colour themes like that in the USA?Thanks so much you all. Could use some feedback on colors.![]()
Hello Robbo99999….It'll be an interesting comparison for you, and it would be interesting to see your JMR be measured at some point (from your point of view for sure) so you can see how the measurements differ.

These are passive radiators that fulfil the same function as the Racetrack passive diaphragms that are located on the back of the BR-but-not-Purifi models. Here I guess there are two, one on each side, in order to achieve the necessary displacement volume (this should be at least twice as high as that of the active bass driver):Intrested to know what effect that side radiator would have. Sadly,
I've been eyeing the A6B for my new speaker for a while now too. Isn't the A6B originally named S6B on the 2025 Development Timeline pdf?Looking through "AsciLab_Product_Lineup_2025_3.pdf" (upload to forum not possible, file too large at 29.43MB) the A6B is not on the roadmap for 2025. Apart from the F6B and F6Bs the prices wander off into the stratosphere. One thing that is a surprise is that ASR members in general welcome amplifiers from Fosi, Aiyima, Douk . . . and low cost DACs from Topping, SMSL, Gustard . . . where the performance is great at reasonable cost. When the interest moves to speakers the same rationale seems to take a nose dive and the cost is not so relevant.
So the F6B would be my choice if I was considering changing speakers, giving performance at reasonable cost.
Amirm: looking at the AsciLab web pages just now, there is so little information on the speakers it could be described as barren, devoid of anything of use to a potential purchaser, no link even to the .pdf file. Perhaps your new venture needs to correct this.
I'm not in the short-term market for more speakers, so feel free to discount this input. Personally, I am very interested in the novel design of the Purifi drivers, and would love to learn whether their symmetrical surround concept actually does what they say it does. I suspect you would juice the market for Ascilab's higher-end models if you confirmed that.As hopefully most of you have read, I have started a new venture to distribute/market Ascilab speakers. We have to shortly put in an order for the initial shipment. Key is deciding which models to bring here. Hate to bring too many of one, and then run out of another. I would very much appreciate it if the North American members vote in the poll which models they would seriously consider purchasing and if so, what color preference you have (white, black and I think silver is available). There are three models, two of which I have reviewed and the third one, Erin has:
F6Bs sealed bookshelf: https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/ascilab-f6bs-speaker-review.63324/

Sealed compact bookshelf. Approximate cost: $725.
F6B passive radiator bookshelf: https://www.audiosciencereview.com/...s/ascilab-f6b-bookshelf-speaker-review.63387/

Larger cabinet with passive radiator. Approximate pricing is $835 a pair.
C6B:

I have not reviewed this as mentioned but is the F6B with higher fidelity mid-woofer. Approximate cost: $1,145.
If anyone wants to make sure you get a unit, please send me a message with title of ASCILAB Purchase and mention which model you want to be inline for.
Current delivery forecast is two months from now.
You are welcome to also post and comment on what you think will be popular if don't intend to purchase.
Much appreciated.![]()
A6B was listed with expected MSRP of usd2999, yes? So perhaps A6B =!= S6B; or A6B has been spec'd up to a new pricepoint of usd4500I think the A6B was changed to S6B (purifi tweeter) and timeline shows plan for availability in 2025

You’re def going to still want a sub.I'm not look for new speakers at this time, but If I were, I'd be most interested in the C6B's for my main stereo system.
I'm impressed by the flat response and low distortion of these Ascilab speakers. In the case of the C6B, I'll be interested in the bass extension and whether I could dispense with my subwoofer.
This is another thing we have to sort out, i.e. how many color variations on the waveguide to order.I am also curious how many people opted for the orange waveguide on their order.
I think that's fair if it keeps purchase price down. Ultimately, for speakers in particular (vs headphones), I'm of the opinion/experience that you can rely on the measurements so less of a need to demo them.Judging about the curiosity people have about the speakers a fixed restocking fee is maybe not the worst idea.
People testing and returning gear has turned into an epidemic with a good impact at original prices I hear.
