Not trying to egg anyone on. But the all Purifi driver, including tweeter, is coming later on the year. The pricing is more, like 50% more, but buy once instead of upgrade later on.

May consider that one, depending how the product is in real life.

F6Bs for subwoofer matching or C6B for cleaner midrange out of current selection are my top 2 but I don't plan to buy either. I already have a good sealed 2-way with the Buchardt A10.

Waiting for the Cardioid designs as I have an asymmetric room and put speakers close to the wall.

I won't be buying any of them because I design my own speakers. If that wasn't the case, the C6B would probably be my favourite of the three mentioned.

None of them at the moment, as I am pleased with my Kef R11 floor standers. But my (hopefully relatively distant future) most likely means moving to a Retirement Community with continuing care. I suspect the R11’s, along with my dual downfiring subs might cause a bit of a kerfluffle amongst the neighbors, so I can see replacing the above set up with either the C6B’s, or the upcoming A6B’s on stands. Probably (sigh) have to forgo the beloved subs so I’d want the extended bass.

Amirm! I’m really pleased and wish you success in your venture. To have a US distributor goes a long way towards purchase confidence with respects to product service and support.

Being UK based, this poll doesn't really concern me I suspect, but I suspect a handful of pairs of the basic models, if as good as suggested, to set a starting point and then the best of the three currently to major on, if that makes sense. I suppose the middle option listed depends on what if any improvement is made by adding the passive driver on the back and how bass is perceived irrespective of measurements.

I think someone in the other thread suggested attending a show to gain exposure. It looks as if a sub-stand arrangement is available or being developed. A complete set would be wonderful to have on test and to demonstrate.

Of course today, ANY active option would be mandatory I feel, as if carefully done with such good basics, worthwhile refinements could be achieved I suspect.

A lot of people are probably not buying because they already have great gear, myself included. Revel floorstanders and Neumann monitors. But if they release great floorstanders I might be tempted.

Having rooms and rooms of great gear has never been an impediment to acquiring more/something new... in this I KNOW that I'm not alone.

As hopefully most of you have read, I have started a new venture to distribute/market Ascilab speakers. We have to shortly put in an order for the initial shipment. Key is deciding which models to bring here. Hate to bring too many of one, and then run out of another. I would very much appreciate it if the North American members vote in the poll which models they would seriously consider purchasing and if so, what color preference you have (white, black and I think silver is available). There are three models, two of which I have reviewed and the third one, Erin has:

I'm not look for new speakers at this time, but If I were, I'd be most interested in the C6B's for my main stereo system.

I'm impressed by the flat response and low distortion of these Ascilab speakers. In the case of the C6B, I'll be interested in the bass extension and whether I could dispense with my subwoofer.

I have personally been looking at the "Radiant Acoustics Clarity 6.2", and have also listened to them.

I am still hoping for a review here at ASR.

The A6B's are very similar in many ways, and if they come in cheaper, i would seriously consider them instead.

I already purchased the C6B in white during the presale. I have revel m126be bookshelves as well but have not had time yet to do a very good comparison. Definitely happy with the Ascilab purchase though. They sound great and I love the white finish in my more modern decorated home. The F6B sealed is interesting for surrounds in a smaller theater as well.

I've ordered the C6B (White, white waveguide and white grill) and can't wait to receive them!

Indeed, as they are considered as a reference of neutrality and good behavior in a room, I want to hear the difference with my current speakers (JMR Folia Jubilé) which have never been measured but which are considered here in France as good speakers, handcrafted, neutral and “musical”... It will also be a new reference point for me.

In short, for the same format (2 way design, size, shape and weight) and the same price range, I think I'm going to discover a new world, even if technically they're not comparable.

Hi @amirm I wish you luck with your venture, and I'm not concerned about impartiality - the data speaks for itself and you have always been careful to identify possible conflicts of interest. All good.

I agree. It would be better for the operator/ceo of the Ascilab US distribution venture (desperate dealer) to ask questions and make polls like this, separate from Amir the reviewer.

The conflict of interest is trending too close to an entanglement of influence.
