AsciLab C8T is developing.
I’m satisfied with the first result.

The woofer position will be a bit differed to get more smooth response.

Cause the bass roll off is quite smooth and deep, in room response will be easily down to 20-30Hz.
40 to 80Hz -6dB/oct, 20 to 40Hz -10dB/oct.

This speaker has more deep controlled directivity down to 200Hz. It’s rare to see as a passive speaker. It’s almost cardioid speaker.

How do you guys think about this beast?

EDIT: Apologies for the wall of content, I was unable to find a way to generate a small "preview" as we see in other types of link.

Appreciate high resolution images, though they have, in most cases, unnecassary footprint on servers.
(but AsciLab would have to look for roof defects if I interpret first image's right top correct).

As hopefully most of you have read, I have started a new venture to distribute/market Ascilab speakers. We have to shortly put in an order for the initial shipment. Key is deciding which models to bring here. Hate to bring too many of one, and then run out of another. I would very much appreciate it if the North American members vote in the poll which models they would seriously consider purchasing and if so, what color preference you have (white, black and I think silver is available). There are three models, two of which I have reviewed and the third one, Erin has:

I have not reviewed this as mentioned but is the F6B with higher fidelity mid-woofer. Approximate cost: $1,145.

Which is this upgraded woofer? It it different than what ASCilab are publishing on their website for C6B?
Or you have mentioned “upgraded woofer” w.r.t. F6B describing it is upgraded woofer compared to F6B, as you have also mentioned C6B as “F6B with higher fidelity mid-woofer”?
Just want to clarify.

The C6B midwoofer uses a ceramic (anodized aluminum) cone, the F6B uses a fiber cone. Also, F6B comes with a midwoofer grille, the C6B doesn't (order separately).

Which scares me a bit -- ceramic suggests "brittle" to me, and might be at risk of damage from grandkids' poking fingers! Sound is stunning, though.

I get it, I just wanted to clarify this because Amir used to”upgraded woofer” specifically in the model name itself.
So is it upgraded woofer compared to C6B’s original woofer (which we see on their website), or if he just meant upgraded woofer compared to F6B.

They are one in the same. I just cut and paste from their website at the time.

Thanks Amir, you answered one of my questions that I was about to put in.
Just one more question, what kind of quality controls and checks are being done on the new batch? Hoping that you are aware of it otherwise @AsciLab may chime in here please.

Unfortunately the date got pushed out another month. Production of our first order is more or less is done. Now the 4 to 6 week journey to US will start. If everyone that has stated interest, that order is already spoken for and then some. So I am in the process of figuring out what our next order will be. T is for tower, it's a new speaker in development.
