3,65m from speakers to head; 2,1m between speakers (midpoint of elements).

Please clarify which is considered "listening distance" for this particular poll:

A. Listening position to Main(L/R) speakers.
or
B. Listening position to center image, center speaker, or TV

A can be considerably longer than B as the mains are positioned further apart...

It’s a very good question. May be too late since the survey has been in place for a while.

I would say distance from speakers is the most meaningful information since that tells us about amplifier power requirements and SPL needed at 1m to hit a target volume at the listening distance.

Surprized this didnt come up sooner Audio SCIENCE review :p

Just average distance. In that case it would be 5 meters. We are not talking about a couple of centimeters difference here.

Main system has a pair of Troels Gravesen designed PMS wide-baffle speakers. Listening distance around 2.5 m.

Desktop setup is a pair of Zaph Audio ZRT 2-ways in a 20 litre sealed enclosure. Nearfield, ~0.8 m.

My listening levels are typically 80 dB(A) peak.
