Ah, yes... I almost posted that... used to drive it twice a day for almost a year. Lived near Candlestick Point and worked in Mill Valley.

Humorously, I then lived in Outer Richmond and commuted almost all the way back to Candlestick just a few years later. No bridge involved. But driving diagonally across The City is always an adventure!

I will say that driving the Bridge that frequently gave me some of the most scenic vistas and memories. Among my favorite are the Fog rolling over the Headlands in the afternoon or when the fog was visually impenetrable but only up to the deck of the Bridge with the rest of the universe being clear, sunny and quite dreamy... something like this:

View from my front veranda, 15 minutes inland from Byron Bay (most eastern point of Australia and 8 hours north of Sydney). Retired here in July 2019. I can finally play my music as loud as I like. Love it!
