I am having doubts about pairing this Polk PSW10 subwoofer to my Edifier MR4 active speakers. I only have 1 RCA output coming out of a USB controller connected to my computer. I don't use a receiver for this small setup.
How can I chain the MR4 with the PSW10 together without a receiver? I know I can split the RCA R output with a Y splitter and run one of the 2 ends to the Subwoofer input, but apparently that is not ideal: https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/rca-splitter-colors.41733/.
And I do see the PSW10 speaker level output, but the Edifier don't have a passive input.
