Polarity of the power cord

Kudos to mr Bill Whitlock for prominently pointing a finger at unsafe practices re electricity lifting ground etc .
Whatever you do to fix your hum issues don't kill yourself .

Who has not in the past operated and old fashioned oscilloscope with cut gnd wires only touching the plastic knobs and not the chassi :rolleyes: thankyou battery operated scope meters ...
 
The next question occurs:
Assumed, the amplifier does best at 1V, and reverted plug 10 V to ground.
All other devices are around 1 V to 0.1 Volt, rsp.
Should these items be polarized to have the higher voltage to reduce compensation current via RCA ground?
