Hello everyone. While we have a very generous policy as far as linking to other sites, it has been brought to my attention that content on headphonesty . com is mostly AI generated and clickbait. So I have changed the forum software to block references to the site.

Well done!
I'm not in favor of blocking websites in general, but this one is really everything I hate: systematically using and distorting other sites' content and deliberately creating confusion for the sole purpose of attracting attention.
Really unhealthy.

Yes the latest snippets linked on ASR was some benchmark quotes about ISO’s that probably was snipped out one of thier articles ? Probably without any consent

Some kind of warning would be practical for such cases, like "this site uses AI and even when it doesn't, it's spreading disinfo".
But imagine the whining about allegedly suppressing the "truth" (they already have the word "honesty" in their name)

Apart from the shockingly terrible content, those websites that bombard you with tripe, adverts and low brow AI material, also typically also most likely to be big on tracking and privacy invading elements.

They do??? I thought it was "Headphone Sty".
The problem, more generally speaking, with such sites is the mix of truths, half-truths and plain BS.
And, LLMs will suck it up, so it might become increasingly hard to tell one from another, even for the "educated".

Some of their older articles were actually informative, but I guess we can point to an archived version of those (archive.org) where relevant.
