This was never an issue to begin with..
This dude cranks up the receiver to 100 dB output volume.. OF COURSE you hear the noise floor if there's no media playing at that volume. (Since the SINAD is not 80+ dB)
If you're drawing 500+ Watts from your power cord, I suggest keeping it away from the speaker cables.
And no, "it's not possible to avoid them crossing" is not an answer...
if you honestly cannot live with this non-issue, you MUST get a different receiver! Or buy a separate power amplifier and use the pre-outs on the Pioneer.
The built-in amplifier of the pioneer doesn't have the greatest SINAD (which is why you can hear the noise floor when you crank the volume up to the max without any music playing)
