Hi all,
Does anyone have a copy of the manual (Japanese) for the Pioneer Exclusive P3 turntable - or know how to get one?

The only place that I could, potentially, find it online was at vinylengine - but you need an account there to download and it seems that you can no longer register (what's up with that?)...

Any advice much appreciated.

Yeah hifiengine and vinylengine are much restricted these days. Last time I wanted to download something they said it wasn't available. I just looked at the P3 manual and it is indeed in Japanese.

Hi Chrispy, thx for the response. If there's any chance you could PM me a copy of the manual I'd be most grateful. I'm based in Japan and can read a fair bit of Japanese - my wife, who is Japanese, helps as necessary.

Translating Chinese/Korean/Japanese PDFs used to be easy to do via online OCR tools. It probably still is, but might be harder to find a useful non intrusive tool in this glorious era of enshittification.

It's only a pdf file in name, it's just scanned copies of a paper manual it seems. Maybe ai can do something with it....

I have searched extensively for the P3 service manual online and been unable to locate a copy. I can confirm that Vinylengine only has the P3 user manual in its archives not the service manual. I believe they stopped allowing new members after it was discovered that their site was being heavily mined, with their information and manuals being reposted on other sites.
Chrispy, if you do have a copy of the service manual I would very much appreciate a copy if you are willing to share. I can offer to repay the favour by offering back any service manuals that you may need that I have in my archives. Send me a PM and we can go from there.
Hoping a great day to all.
JJ

My original post was in reference to the user manual - having recently, & fortunately, been able to acquire a P3 in extraordinary condition (only the arm lift needs work).

Would love to also acquire a copy of the service manual - though if material servicing is required in future I'd likely approach one of the specialists in such work here in Japan.

I'm sure some of them would have a copy of the service manual. I can enquire - though I suspect they may be reluctant to share...
