Pioneer DV-565A (CD/DVD) Measurements

That smells of digital filter overload. Archimago does testing with two different white noise signals for that exact reason, one with 0 dBFS peaks and another with -4 dBFS.
Hmm, that's strange since there're no boosts...
Will burn another CD, since measurement sweep is also kinda corrupted on mine for some reason

Hello! This is a quick review/measurements set of a Pioneer DV-565A CD/DVD player, tested in CD mode.
Thanks for this! I had coincidentally just added my presumably similar DV-563 to my computer system a day or two before your post. I had an extra optical cable so it's now connected to my S.M.S.L SU-1 in a near-field system with two Pioneer center speakers on end that sounds more than good enough to justifying raiding the closet!

Got mine for about 9$ almost 5 years ago and used primarily with DVD-A recordings from vinyl rips. Very pleased with its overall build quality and features/price ratio
