Maybe they will release the Blu-ray Atmos mix on it’s own

I do believe that will happen eventually.
I'm all for the labels supporting the collector market with these special item packages.
Just don't hold a gun to everyone's head making them pay for a lot of stuff they have no interest in,
just to obtain the latest remix.
And let's don't fall victim to the blackmail by purchasing that which you don't want.

When someone talks about Animals, you know they are a true fan. It is absolutely peak Pink Floyd for me and I have to listen to the entire record every time.

I will confess i don't bother with the intro outro pigs on the wing.

Allegedly the lyrics on the very last words of "sheep" is
"get out of the road
if you wanna grow old"

now, i've found a live version where that certainly seems to be what he enunciates. but on the album?? i dunno. it doesn't quite sound like he says that.

i almost feel like maybe this fits, and arguably could still make some sense, depending how you wanna interpret it
"you're not a hero
if you wanna grow old"

I just happened to go to put the album on last night, and that's when i discovered the 2018 remix, stereo, on youtube music.
A bit of AB from other digital stereo version.

VERY pleased with that 2018 stereo version. and it has plentiful/similar dynamic range as other digital versions too - so they didn't go stupid with that, as seems irresistible all too often.

the bass guitar in particular way more powerful.
