Found it!
Flat tire on a horse trailer that I helped fix.

That's ingenious! If you drive that screw into the hole, it gets plugged! Why didn't I think of that? ;)

Well... It would actually have been plug and play, with a glued in rubber seal/plug...if the tire was not also damaged at the inner 'lip' :D
Fetched a new one quite cheaply, and had her up and running in an hour

Mohawk “Skywalkers”, Native Americans, worked many high rises in our major cities - lack of fear of heights and good balance. You are going to have to work on taller buildings to come close - think “Empire State” and higher!:)
That being said, respect for where you are in the photo! I used to be fine with heights but a few weeks ago I climbed up on my single story roof to cut some tree branches from the neighbors tree and found I could not stand up! Had to cut the limbs while sitting on the roof….

Originally I have a degree in electronics, but lifes ways led me to become a crane technician, so I slowly learned to trust the equipment... But it was not over night :)
Fully agree, every now and then we all encounter little miss-steps, which more or less digs deep into our minds. Some heal faster than others, and some never do. All we can do, is to make the best of it :D

Please hide photos like this behind a link with a disclaimer from now on! My fear of heights and I are just *so* looking forward to the company outing next month... to the climbing forest.
Bluebirds have adapted to the new nest box!
Here in Germany, nesting boxes (with specific bird species assignments) are incorporated directly into the building plans. At least, that was the case with the building where I moved into an apartment a few years ago. During the joint walkthrough with the architect, I couldn't help but ask whether the birds had already been informed about it.

Sorry... I grew up with almost zero regards to such things as phobia and most types of exposure + lots of hands on practical experiences, so anything I see, except when someone wears a body cam and crawl on very high places on youtube, has very little effect on me - except sweaty palms maybe :)

I actually took the picture for my sister, who is afraid of heights too, but likes the view. Further... a gradual exposure over time, can usually lighten the fear.

This job has several aspects that I felt I needed to confront in myself, like discipline, active planning, independence, fault search, very broad people interaction, etc. Which is one of the reasons I took it - because I need to grow, and this life is all I have, and even if I am with someone, I'm still the only one in my own mind.
This might be of interest to you, if you don't already know this method:

That was actually meant a bit ironically, maybe it didn't come across that way... So, no problem! ;-)

I will definitely be participating in the climbing event, let's see how it turns out. As you’ll be roped up there, it probably won’t be a problem much like being on a chairlift or in a gondola. But as soon as I get the feeling that the safety backup is missing (like the last time, when I was painting the side of a house at a height of about 6 meters)...

Great :D :D
I can see you live in Germany, which I have visited many times. You have lots of beautiful nature with deep forests and curvy hilly roads, so I'm happy you appreciate the "exposure" ;)
Never will I forget the work-visit I had to a small city 1 hour from Frankfurt many years ago, where water, mountains, railways and a classic bierstube formed this almost idyllic atmosphere/landscape - great times :) I believe it was Neuwied... if I remember correctly.

Neuwied is also only an hour away from my location. Moved from a "flat" area dominated by agriculture and without any forests to the Taunus north of Frankfurt just 4 years ago and have to agree with your observations. Although I'm not so sure about the railway situation. Yes, the trains contribute to the idyllic setting. However, the reason is that fantastic hydrogen technology is causing many cancellations.;)
Fortunately, Europe is so compact, and no single place offers absolutely everything. I have spent windsurfing holidays at Ringkøbing Fjord and Løkken very often. Especially in autumn, you consistently find fantastic conditions there, day after day. The weather is, of course, a bit rougher. But in the evenings a sense of calm usually settles in:
