This is possibly my favourite shot from all my bird photos, and it was a lucky accident!

My camera didn't have time to adjust quick enough, so it was technically under exposed, but the light through the tree cover picked out the Robin a treat! No post processing.

Taken on the Monsal Trail, by Cheedale, in September this year.

I use only one and free Darktable 5.4 - an extremely autistic/geeky GUI, but the tone&color is unbeatable.

Spent my teenage years surfing many of the beaches from a little north of that pic to much farther south of those rocks on the far right. Learned how at Linda Mar where a busy day was all of 15 surfers. Now maybe 60-70. Nice sky, nice picture.
