Pics you’ve taken,

Nothing fancy, just a new toy, and some practice snaps taken close to home as I get to know it better. I do like it's electronic level, as it seems higher-res than most, but it doesn't function when the camera is pointed straight down, which might be the case when the camera is mounted to a copy stand. Retro style and features aside, the camera is basically an entry level Nikon Z30.

Lime avenue at Biddulph Grange Garden. Yesterday.

We call it Dad's avenue. We scattered his ashes in the roots of those old lime trees about 11 years ago. His atoms are now in every blade of grass, every leaf, every petal, every twig - in the whole garden.

It's a great place to spend time with him.

First photo taken earlier tonight out in my home towns bay here in Galloway with iPhone 17, quite an improvement over my iPhone XS. Was a simple point and shoot using the .5 wide angle option,
