I love taking hummingbird pictures. And that's a way to keep my Mom happy, who is Colombian and lives in Spain now. She misses hummingbirds. (Taken with an Olympus EM5 and the 50/2.0 lens if I remember correctly).

That look when it's 10 minutes to dinner time. How they tell time remains a mystery, but they do. Ivy the retired racer has "the look" down to a science.

New camera and lens is delivering stunning details and color don't you think?

Yes, no edits made there. Greyhounds really get you with the eyes. ;)
Absolutely! Loved the time we had with our two retired racers. Very sweet dogs and absolute couch potatoes. Mid-Fall to Mid-Spring they wore fleece jammies and slept under blankets as well. Such wonderful dogs, and yours is beautiful!

How lovely to enjoy listening to music during a power outage! Oops, oh wait ...

BTW it's August. Snow in your area? Most unfortunate.

Not current, last winter, '24-'25. I just happen to like the photo...

The red sofa, golden fire, white tile, and green plant - classic Christmas colors without a single ornament in sight. It’s subtle, but the vibe is all there: warm, cozy, festive. Funny how that feeling shows up - despite the inconvenience of the power outage... or maybe because of it? Sometimes the season sneaks in through the palette alone.
