Seeing SVS came out with integrated full room correction on their latest SB-17 Ultra subwoofer, I got a bit of envy, but that subwoofer is massive overkill and WAAAAAAY out of my budget. Then I found out about DSPeaker’s Anti-Mode unit and figured for the price I ought to give it a try with my, “humble,” SB-3000. Came in today, ran the calibration and…ooooh my this thing is just amazing. Best damn ~$300 I’ve ever spent on my system! Never ever managed to get the bass on this thing nearly as clean, clear, and, “fast sounding,” using the WiiM Ultra’s room correction as I did with this thing. 10/10 highly, highly recommend for anyone who has a subwoofer!

That was my experience as well. The only reason I got rid of it was that I had a loud on/off noise from my Kef Kube 8b into my other sub that the 8033 could not block. So I went over to the far more complex world of MSO and a miniDSP 2x4HD.

I like the 8033 so much that I ended up ordering an Anti-Mode X2D! Comes in Monday and I can hardly wait!

Can i use an Antimode 8033 with a 5.1 homecinema setup or is it only useful for 2.1 stereo setups? The description always talks about stereo. I have no clue.

8033 is just for the sub, so it doesn’t matter if it’s 2.1, 5.1, 7.1 etc it will work fine
