When it came out five years ago, this streamer/DAC that apparently does Bluetooth, AirPlay and DTS Play-Fi from Phorus cost $179. Now it's $29.

Strangely, the name Phorus looked familiar because when I scanned my LAN recently I noticed that the Klipsch PowerGate vendor showed up as Phorus. IIRC, the Paradigm PW LINK was doing that too.
Amazon reviews seem mixed with under half giving it 5 star.
As painful as I realize the Play-Fi experience can be, would love to see if this thing has any useful application. Even with limited use $29 is a deal.
