A cloth to clean a stylus? A microfiber is going to snag it in a heart beat.

I get shivers just thinking of that imagery. Also likely to rip the cantilever right out of its pivot assembly.

It looks like (and likely acts like) a piece of gecko (nano) tape. I've got metres of the stuff. Should try it.

The brand tested for this paper left ~10µm of polyurethane behind. No idea whether that's enough to worry about.
