Not bad. For using a 14 bit part, this is a pretty good product 35 years later.

Sony CDP-101 review next?

My recollection (suspect for a variety of reasons) is that Genelec was using a Sony CDP-101 as the audio source for their (US) AES Convention demos around the turn of the millennia.
