Passive coaxial hifi speakers

Selected models of the following manufacturers are falling into this category, and some are really interesting:
- MoFi
- TAD Labs
- Elac
- Spatial Audio

just passing on avenues to explore....
All well and good, but that particular avenue is filled with whore-houses and dope-dens. There are two speakers we don't mention on ASR : Bose is one, Zu is the other. Believe me, there are good reasons for this.

Is there really an "active" MoFi?

But there is this passive MoFi:

"Bookshelf" may be pushing that definition.
I don't think you grasped my comment. But yes there's no active MoFi

only one left, the ball is in someone's court

With coaxial designs, avoiding diffraction issues is really difficult, they’re a pain to build, the market for them is tiny, and considering cost performance, they’re at a huge disadvantage compared to regular 2 way designs.

Out of the ones I’ve come across, Geithain was the most neutral.

Thiel made some nice ones and Andrew Jones is hitting it out of the park over at MoFi.

Why don't SEAS and Scan- Speak and other driver manufactures make coaxial drivers?

OT: May I add those Helios speakers to your "Most beautiful speakers in the world?" thread?
Even if you have posted them previously; after 350pages/7000posts, I think they deserve another mention.
[I used "Helios" in search-tool, w/1 result]
Their floor-stands at $1,200 brings the cost to $6,240.
Price of coolness and uniqueness. One wonders how they'd sound.

No problem at all ;)

Thanks
Wasn't aware of them
Those were mainly older designs and unfortunately don't have the level of perfection of Genelec and KEF drivers, even the current Mofi designs are surprisingly good.
