I would like with how many volts or dbu do you attacks you mc2 amp. For me they have so much gain . About 32db at 1.4v. Do you use with a lot of attenuation?

Yes, too much gain. Especially if your source is high, I directly connect my Logitech Transporter (3V). You maybe able to control it better with a preamp.

I've compared a pair of Benchmark AHB2 mono blocks to the MC2 Audio S800 (with the low-noise fan option).
The AHB2 have a pellucid clarity that is very appealing, but with the S800, the system just sounds more like real music.
Speakers are Tannoy System 215 DMT MK2.

The Bryston 4B3, which I also compared, I'd place in between the two.

Hardly an objective or analytical assessment, but I did hand off the AHB2 to another listener, while keeping the Benchmark LA4. . . .
