It took an eternity, but all pics are uploaded by now.
You Sir are an Artist with your Camera! Incredible talent and the details you capture are amazing. Thank for so kindly for sharing the results of your hard work. You don’t just take pictures you capture the beauty and craftsmanship when presented. I would not be surprised if you get requests for republish rights. BZ VF

Wizard hat steals the show for me.

Great photos! Thanks @VintageFlanker!

Awesome!!! I am amazed they are still using the old racetrack woofer.

That's a historical Wilson from 1983/4, their first or second WAMM using B139 KEF drivers.

They are exhibiting old vs new to show how far they've come etc. I bet the old WAMMs aren't even connected.

Interesting for sure... Those old racetrack woofers sounded pretty good if well implemented.

What camera equipment were you using?
Fujifilm X-S20 + Fujinon 33mm 1.4, Viltrox 75mm 1.2 Pro, and Sigma 16mm 1.4.
Did they let you play with lighting?
Absolutely not. Once, @K0RnY helped adjusting the light in the HiFi ROSE room, but that's it. ;)

We thank you for your service, @VintageFlanker . I appreciate how much effort went into making and posting the photos. Rather you than me. I went to an hifi show once back in the 1980s. It was enough.

The Technics CX700 wireless speakers look quite nice. A bit pricey. Interesting connectivity including a phono input to connect your Technics turntable.

Incredible shots. Most of these are better than the product images themselfes. What cam/processing do you use? I guess the bright lighting at the fair made taking shots pretty easy too.

I noticed that hifi fairs are more and more becoming a "speaker cabinet design fair". All the cases and cabinets look really pretty, but I bet they can't really deliver in sound compared to the ASR sota speakers. Whenever I see a tweeter on a laaarge baffle I already shudder.

Many thanks for these, let's me dream how I can upgrade from Mid-Fi to Hi-Fi.

What the ... This looks like an insult to all audio reproduction progress ever made. Visually too.

Bruh ...

What cam/processing do you use?
Mentioned a couple of posts above. ;)

Quite the opposite, indeed. The lighting conditions were horrendous in most rooms. 80% of shots you see are at ISO 6400, sometimes higher (which is far from ideal with an APS-C camera). I could have shot a few at ISO 1600 or 3200, when lucky. RAW files are tho treated with DxO PureRAW 4, which does a great job with denoising (while still not optimal for Fuji X-Trans sensors to date).

And sonically too. This was easily one of the worst sounding systems in the entire show. I cannot see who in his right mind would spend 6300€ for a pair of these things.

I wish Klippel would book a booth with its measurement equipment ready just to create a slight aura of unease for all the voodoo hifi manufacturers.

"Oooh, wow, this speaker is 200k? Full range? Zero distortion you say? I have my 1000lbs dolly right there, let us just get that measurement verified!"

That Sigma 16mm 1.4 is amazing in low light!
I don't like it that much, frankly (lack of contrast & sharpness, quite an amount of distortion even after correction. Doesn't do anything particularly well, but good AF). I would probably sale it anytime soon. My next goal for this kind of event is the new Fuji 16-55mm MkII (+75mm 1.2).

Some manufacturers ahead already use Klippel (not necessarily the NFS, but at least their software) : Magico, Atohm, among others.

Amir, we would like a review of all the items shown above, especially the giant meter in the Wilson shot.
