If you don´t mind, take some pics of your listening space. Multichannel Blades is a personal dream come true. :)
I hope I don't disappoint you but the Blades with be L/R only with other KEFs for the remaining channels. It took a lot of mental wrestling (and a little technical help from KEF).

You will not. :)

I have a multichannel set of old IQ´s, so in a sense, yours is the "heavy weight top version" of what I have.

many thanks for the huge effort @VintageFlanker, very well done.

Everything looks so oversized, overpriced, overdesigned, over.. like a true Show I guess. Was there really no midrange stuff that normal people can buy or you just chose the most 'expensive' pictures?

And some of us are still waiting for your ear impressions. Without 'politically correct' filters please :)

Thanks for all your efforts but spades are not acceptable for my situation because I often need to swap connections quickly.
My solution was to change speakers. :)

Yamaha going for the porn mood lmao.
Audio Vector and Dynaudio look so boring. Yes, speakers are not jewelry but come on.

I am really curious about the KEF Blade. But the 33 Hz @ -3dB seems really weak for this size and price, it should be noticable in higher levels as bass distortion. But maybe the enclosure has some magic that somehow brings the distortion really low.

Oh, and for those huge wide Klipsch retro speakers. I wonder how in this day and age those old school horn tweeters come anywhere close to hifi.

The horns have been designed from the ground up apparently. All new stuff.

Still a horn. I don't know why one would need to raise efficiency of a tweeter when it's the part that is most resistant to distortion of a speaker. I believe you're just worsening SINAD.

So sorry for the very late reply... Anyway, the camera i used is a Sony RX100 Mk6.
I tried to deal with both sensibility and speed, on order to limit noisy pictures, but it was not a win at all... Next time, all in full auto mode...

Thank you very much for sharing these great pictures!

Looking forward to reading your impressions on the system you listened to! In particular the Perlisten and KEF Blade 2 meta

First time I saw the feet of the Blade i thought it was a failed DIY add-on made by the owner. Cannot help looking at them ever since. Did they hire the designer of the cheapest ikea office furniture lines? How much do these speakers cost? those holes.... aaarrrrgggggg

View attachment 245107
$26,000 the feet have to be solid aluminum for the speakers not to topple over!

Tell us what are the others, surprising that you didn’t do all KEF Blade 2 meta as a 5.4

The main job of a port is directivity control

When those arrive and are installed, I will let you know what and how I decided. As for why I did not use all Blades, there are two issues, cost and space.

Yes that would be exorbitant 5 KEF BLADE 2 Meta $70,000 even at dealer cost $35,000!
