All,
One of my customers send me this amplifier interested in how it will compare against the Starkrimson Stereo Ultra. Anyway I figured I would also post the measurements here for everybody's benefit.
This amplifier is current selling for $595.00 on amazon
All measurements are with 8ohm load, with the amplifier configured for bridged mode operation.
I will start off with Bench Mode...
SNR A-Weighted
Frequency Response and Phase
-40dB Output at 1kHz wideband FFT
THD+N @ 1kHz vs Measured Level
Even though the amplifier is rated for 200Wpc in bridged mode it does not get there. I tried a few different ways and was not able to get there. There is a very large gap in performance compared to Starkrimson Stereo Ultra.
THD+N Vs Frequency at 10W (20kHz BW)
The 275V2 clearly has a level of frequency dependence as the THD+N goes up with frequency.
IMD SMPTE
Multitone
10W 10kHz square wave 4ohm load (stereo mode)
I have the amplifier only for another day or two if there are any requests I will try to accommodate but no guarantees.
