Thank you Alexanderc but unfortunately I don't understand those stats much.

Well using the info in the Soundstage.net measurements that Alexanderc provided, they are a bit uneven thru the midrange. Look not bad off-axis. I'd expect the bass to be a bit muddy with recessed midrange. Maybe a sense of air at the top as the top response goes up a bit. Probably would take EQ well. Juice the 500hz to 5 khz range by about 4 db, and you might have a pretty nice speaker. Probably not bad for $1000/pr. If you don't EQ them however I'm not sure they are a good choice.

They look a little uneven compared to say the Revel M16, and probably verge on a light-weight sound. An M16 pr with subs would likely be better, and maybe even without subs.

And that is my interpretation of the measurements. I've heard neither M16 nor these Paradigms.

D, beware the dark side. It can suck you in before you even know it's happening. :p

Thank You for explaining all this :)

I don't like these columns with a bunch of speakers. Looks ugly and more problems with coherent sound

;) These are huge, and plastic or PVC feet look cheap.
