I am so bummed by the 70LCR. Looks like they don't have their concentric driver dialed in. I loved the look, and I could live with the floor standers, but for $1700 I expected an excellent center channel.

I think audioholics were extremely generous with the 70LCR sound quality... Or maybe James' measurements don't cut it in my opinion. This is not a response for even a $300 centre. No way.

Sidebar 3: Measurements I used DRA Labs' MLSSA system, a calibrated DPA 4006 microphone to measure the Paradigm Founder 120H's frequency response in the farfield, and an Earthworks QTC-40 mike for the nearfield responses; both microphones were used with an Earthworks microphone preamplifier.
